What is the book you find yourself recommending most often to customers/friends and family?
Praying the Scriptures for your Children by Jodie Berndt. I read and re-read this book many times while raising my boys and found it to be encouraging and challenging. It always pointed me back to scripture when I was struggling as a young mom and I have given it to several next-gen moms in hopes of empowering them to pray for their children as well.
What book are you currently reading?
Undistracted by Bob Goff. I am being challenged to look at the way I spend my time and also my priorities and what the Bible says should be my priorities. It is helpful to think through what I believe God desires for me to spend my time doing and then evaluate what I am actually spending time on, and then find intentional ways to get rid of the things that are distracting me from fulfilling my God-given purpose.

What is the book you find yourself recommending most often to customers/friends and family?
I constantly return to The Road Back to You by Ian Cron and Suzanne Stabile. There is something that is eye-opening and empowering about a journey of self-discovery. Though this journey is often not easy or fun, this unique approach to our relationship with self, others, and God allows us to grow and walk in a space of awareness and connection.
What book are you currently reading?
Presently, I am finishing a summer of fun, light reads. My most recent book is Plot Twist by Bethany Turner. I don’t know what it is, but, as a bookstore employee, there is something delightful about reading books about books and other book-loving people. This is just one of many other book-ish books that are on my TBR shelf.

What is the book you find yourself recommending most often to customers/friends and family?
I often recommend Becoming Elisabeth Elliot by Ellen Vaughn. The author is SUCH a good storyteller and tells about the life of such an incredible woman and Bible translator with so much grace. I think the life of Elisabeth Elliot is such a testimony to the presence of God and the devotion that all Christians should have to the Lord.
What book are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Prayer by Timothy Keller. I really like the way that he integrates other early church fathers’ thoughts about prayer into his more modern ideas of the communion between humans and God.
